The sun will come out tomorrow. We’ll start xyz tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow will be better, different, changed.
But what about today?
What could you do today to work towards that goal of starting tomorrow?
I’m asked so often about writing. People tell me they want to write but they aren’t sure how to start. Just do it. That’s the advice I have for anything you are wanting to pursue. Start dipping your toes in the water today!
So you might fail. Yeah, that’s a bummer. Totally get that. Every time I put myself out there by clicking publish, I risk “failure” in the eyes of others.
I rest knowing that if God put it on my heart and I am supposed to do it, how can I fail?
But what if you’re wrong? Well, what if you’re not? How will you ever know if you don’t try?
God will tell you if what you are doing is right. Pray about it and ask for guidance. Trust that little voice that tells you if something’s off. The Holy Spirit doesn’t always yell.
If you’ve been following Christ for very long, you know that you will get confirmation in lots of different ways when He’s sending you a message about doing something. I love that part as a believer. If you’re paying attention, it’s never a guessing game.

Great to read this….it’s Dec. 13, 2012 and I believe that anyone can read this anytime.
That happens to be one of my favorite scriptures…and I believe that God is talking to me thru you. I just read something I wrote a long time ago when I was climbing out of the pit. Maybe he wants me to blog it. I don’t know.
