Day 14 of 31 days of depression.
I’ve written before about why I changed my tunes.
I stand behind that post and encourage you to challenge yourself to a change of tunes.
Music has a way of speaking to the soul like nothing else in this world. It can change our mood, take us back in history, and move us.
Don’t underestimate the power of the words pouring into your mind.

It is password protected and you can even encrypt the journal if you need to. You can also use a fake name and junk email address for further protection. - Pray: Lord, thank you for the beauty of music. Thank you for all you have done and are doing in my life. Thank you for being my savior. In Jesus Name, Amen.
The next 31 days we will be discussing depression and healthy ways to combat it but we’re going to get real too. Because for those of us who wind up in the pit often, we know platitudes and fluff pieces do nothing for us. My expertise is only based 0n my own very personal battles with depression and is no way, professional or medical advice. You’re correct Mel. What you put in your mind and heart is what you will live. Images shape us. By the way, I just love that song by Brandon Heath; I play it all the time. To be ‘others’ focused is healthier for us as well….biblical too.
Have a good day. Judi.
