Rejuvenating

6015_1199625191730_1261553891_30596006_295107_n by melindatodd, on Pix-O-Sphere My girlfriends and I are heading to the beach this weekend to get away. Time to rejuvenate and hopefully get some writing done while sitting on the porch whale watching. I’ve been running on fumes lately. How about you?

What do you do to rejuvenate? Are you a gal who has to get totally alone with the Lord or do you prefer a more social setting? I can do either but there is something about laughing my socks off with friends, that refreshes.

This weekend, spend a little time to rejuvenate. Even if you can’t escape for the whole weekend, see if you can’t squeeze in a bubble bath and a good book or take a walk alone. Escape to the library or your favorite book store. There are so many ways that are free or inexpensive to just get away from it all, even if only for an hour or two.

Will you take this challenge? What will you do this weekend?

What will I do to recharge? Good question.
For one thing, the children are staying this weekend with my in laws. They will all have fun. My husband and I will rest. This seems to be along the lines of your post.

Mentally, there are several big ticket items that completely perplex me. Those are going in God’s Inbox. Good Luck, Lord! I’m over here if you need me. *thumbs up* That’s why He’s in charge and I’m not. Somehow He’s going to have to communicate His divine answers to me.

Lastly, art is waaay overdue. I like many different media. Maybe some watercolor pencils are on this weekend’s schedule.

For me, rejuvenating means spending a day with my friends. We do a lot of crazy things together, and our laughter is more than enough to lift my spirit.
