Lay Your Requests At His Feet – Made To Crave Week 2, Day 1

In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;
    in the morning I lay my requests before you
    and wait expectantly. Psalm 5:3

Laying my requests before God and like the psalmist says, waiting in expectation. ~ Lysa TerKeurst

Today, focus on prayer. When a craving strikes, pray. When you think you can’t do it anymore. Pray. Stop everything and pray. It’s okay to admit that you don’t want to do it. It’s okay to admit that you are angry about it.

Tomorrow is a holiday. What can you create for tomorrow that won’t make you feel guilty? A parfait of fresh blueberries, strawberries, and cool whip is a healthy alternative that is super yummy and bonus! It’s red white and blue :)

Today’s Assignment:

  • Make some healthy alternatives for tomorrow’s celebration. But find things that are yummy and won’t make you feel like you are being deprived. Remember, we are empowered to make better choices.
  • Pray. Pray. Pray.

Fitness Tip of The Day:

  •  Stand on your dumbbells! Tight calves are the chief cause of back trouble, so we need to keep our calves loose. Put your DB’s to good use by resting your toes on them while you’re standing, feet hip width apart, tailbone untucked, ribs down, shoulder blades back!  ~Women’s Fitness Specialist, Bethany Learn of Fit 2 B Studio

    Prayer is indeed a powerful armor. Happy 4th of July! I’m aiming not to drink any alcohol for this celebration. I’d pray sternly for this one. God bless. :)
