Today’s verse is one that I take very seriously and is a huge reason we travel to Haiti and raise money for the ministries there. God says to do it. So we do. And it is hard. But so worth it.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:25 (NIV)
How can you serve orphans and widows? Are you already doing it?
