In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.  Proverbs 3:6

2010 is heading out.  In with 2011!  Woohoo!  I have decided not to focus on the negatives of 2010 and the things I didn’t complete on my to-do list.  I don’t generally make resolutions but this year, I will make a few goals.

My 2010 Accomplishments:

* Won a writing contest and a digital contract for my story at Twin Trinity.  (I wrote under a pen name as Melinda Murray, I don’t really know why)

* Published at (in)courage (Since I have moved urls, my links on that publication will lead you to my old blog but you can find the other story here: Redemption of Hearts so that you can leave comments etc)

* Won Highly Recommended Award for my Letter to my Abuser at Faith Writers

* Figured out my blogging niche (it’s only taken about 10 years :) )

* Wrote about some of the yucky stuff from my childhood (See my tabs above)

* Found a new doctor that I really like

* Finally received an accurate diagnosis for what is going on with my body (post to come, still processing)

* Won a trip

* Won many contests from different bloggers (I can now never say I never win anything, I think I won at least 10 prizes)

* Got a job as a consultant, named my own price!

* Finally moved my blog to WordPress and changed the name (such a process, I still don’t have all my content transferred from Mel’s Goin’ Goin’ Gone)

* Connected with some family members I had lost touch with

* Motivated folks to send letters to the parole board to keep my bio father in prison

What did you accomplish in 2010?  What are your goals/resolutions for 2011?  Leave a comment.  If you decide to blog about it, paste your blog button in the comments.  I will come read your lists :)

    KUDOS to you and all you have done!

    I think my big accomplishment was “Survived our 10th year homeschooling 3 boys with no fatalities.”
